Please note, this is not a smoothie… but if you have a juicing machine, this is for you! If not, consider getting a juicer… My daughter and I recently joined the ‘juice craze’ for the added nutrients, pick-me-up and feel-good effects. From my experience (and anyone I’ve questioned), this method of nutrient enrichment and supplement really, really works toward feeling like a million bucks!
Enjoy this recipe:
16 ounces strawberries, washed, stems removed and cut into halves
½ a pineapple, outer husk removed and fruit cut into wedges
10 fresh mint leaves
Juice in this order: strawberries, mint, pineapple
Mix well + serve chilled—and then enjoy a healthy dose of Vitamin-C, plus this combination will promote bone health and even help alleviate arthritis.
